• GMAmplitude (optional) energy amplitude, default 1
• j_star (optional) modal roll-off, default 3
• shouldOnlyRandomizeOrientations (optional) boolean indicating whether randomness in amplitudes should be eliminated (default 0)
• shouldShowDiagnostics (optional) whether to summarize what just happened (default 0)
